Bouygues Construction provides the energy renovation of housing in France

Bouygues

Bouygues Construction has more than 40 years’ experience in the energy renovation market. With three new offerings designed to meet the challenges of energy renovation in the residential sector, Bouygues Construction offers homeowners, whether they are landlords, co-owners or independent owners, a tailor-made approach that simplifies the implementation of energy renovation projects.

With 80% of the homes that will constitute the housing stock in 2050 already built, energy renovation is a major challenge for the coming years. In France, there are 4.8 million inadequately insulated properties (homes classified F or G according to their energy performance certificate rating). As of 2025, landlords
will no longer be allowed to rent out G-rated properties, and the ban is due to be extended to F-rated housing from 2028.

In this context, Bouygues Construction offers simplification and support to homeowners, who can easily be overwhelmed by the scale of the work involved and the extensive procedures that are required.

SOCIAL LANDLORDS
The COREHA offer provides landlords with a service that is totally focused on their residents. It provides peace of mind for landlords. COREHA guarantees residents a reduction in their charges, improved thermal comfort compared with the prior situation, quality of use on a daily basis and a well-managed works phase. In order to minimise the impact of the renovation work on each resident, a single contact person liaises with Bouygues Construction teams to provide the necessary information, draw up the most optimal schedules possible and ensure that they are respected, and guarantee the residents’ safety. The company performs as much pre-assembly as possible in off-site workshops to reduce the length of the project and minimise disruption. Thanks to its teams’ expertise in engineering and in refurbishment, the company can
offer a range of services aimed at landlords and their residents, always striving to find the best technical solutions to maximise energy savings, comfort and the value of the property.

PROPERTIES IN CO-OWNERSHIP
COPRIO is a tailor-made offer for co-owners to simplify the management of often complex projects. Depending on their needs, co-owners (via their property managers) can enlist the help of Bouygues Construction experts in their energy renovation projects.

COPRIO guarantees lower property charges for co-owners, no financial advance for the works, a well-managed, nuisance-free worksite, on-time delivery and a single point of contact. It also means a guaranteed increase in property value of up to 20%. With the support of a number of partners (banks,
design offices, law firms, etc.), Bouygues Construction’s teams can assist co-owners at every stage of their projects:

Administrative phases: general meeting of co-owners, architectural brief, planning permission, elaboration of the contract, funding via loans and subsidies, etc.

Carrying out and coordinating the works
Contracting with a maintenance company as required

INDIVIDUAL OWNERS
The KLÉOM offer is an adaptable, turnkey energy renovation solution that supports private individuals in their energy renovation projects from start to finish (diagnosis, carrying out the work, administrative follow-up, obtaining grants, etc.). KLÉOM can also put individuals in touch with banking partners to
help finance the portion of the cost for which the owner is responsible. Initiated in the Brittany and Loire regions, the KLÉOM offer will gradually be extended to Normandy and then to the north of France from 2025 onwards prior to national roll-out.

This comprehensive approach to energy renovation enables Bouygues Construction to provide a concrete response to the challenges of the necessary energy transformation of France’s housing stock. It also provides greater thermal comfort, less stressful project management, a guarantee of lower costs for residents and increased value for their properties.

Philippe Jouy, Executive Vice President of Bouygues Construction with responsibility for Bouygues Bâtiment France, said: “France has a very large housing stock, which represents a major challenge in terms of energy renovation. We’re delighted to be making all our renovation expertise available to landlords, co-ownerships and independent property owners, to help them implement their energy renovation projects more simply, to achieve greater comfort and lower energy costs, and also to support energy transition in the regions. These projects will be carried out alongside local players, with whom we work closely.”
