Turner Construction Company has officially broken ground on the $150 million Frayser Community High School, a state-of-the-art educational facility that will transform academic life for 1,500 students and serve as a long-term anchor for the Frayser neighborhood in Memphis.
Spanning 270,000 square feet, the school will unify the current MLK College Preparatory High School and Trezevant High School into a single modern campus. Designed to prepare students for the future, the project will feature:
- A career and technology education center
- Dedicated fine arts and creative arts spaces
- Advanced STEM laboratories
- Broadcast and media production studios
- Graphic design classrooms
- Junior ROTC facilities
- Modern sports infrastructure
Additionally, the school will be built with a strong focus on safety, durability, and flexible learning environments that adapt to future teaching innovations and technological progress.
