AECOM Awarded Two Major U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracts for Architecture and Engineering Services Across Europe

Global infrastructure consulting firm AECOM has been awarded two significant contracts by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to provide architecture and engineering (A&E) services supporting military infrastructure and operational readiness projects across Europe.

These indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts, awarded through the USACE Europe District, have a combined capacity of $150 million over a period of five years. The scope of services includes planning, design, environmental assessments, construction management, and technical consulting for U.S. military installations and NATO infrastructure projects in countries such as Germany, Poland, Romania, and the Baltics.

“We’re proud to continue our long-standing partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,” said Kara Tarrant, AECOM’s Senior Vice President of Federal Programs. “These awards strengthen AECOM’s position as a trusted delivery partner in supporting critical defense infrastructure, energy resilience, and sustainability objectives in Europe.”

The contracts support ongoing efforts to modernize facilities, improve operational efficiency, and bolster defense readiness amid evolving security dynamics in Eastern Europe. AECOM’s work will help ensure U.S. and allied forces have the infrastructure required to support rapid deployment, training, and mission effectiveness.

These awards are part of the U.S. Department of Defense’s broader strategy to invest in forward-operating bases and strengthen NATO alliances through targeted infrastructure upgrades and new developments.

AECOM brings deep experience in military and federal infrastructure design, having supported projects for the Pentagon, FEMA, NASA, and various international defense ministries.
