AECOM to Accelerate Australia’s Energy Transition as Technical Advisor to VicGrid

AECOM (NYSE: ACM), the trusted global infrastructure leader, has been appointed technical advisor and lead consultant for VicGrid, a newly established energy infrastructure agency by the Victorian government. In collaboration with GHD as a key subconsultant and other specialist contractors, AECOM will help guide the planning and delivery of Victoria’s next-generation power grid.

Supporting the Future of Victoria’s Grid

VicGrid is tasked with planning, developing, and delivering energy infrastructure that ensures a reliable, efficient, and renewable electricity grid. AECOM’s advisory role will include:

  • Engineering services
  • Land, planning, and environmental approvals
  • Partnering with First Nations subcontractors
  • Asset lifecycle management

This partnership strengthens AECOM’s growing leadership in energy transition and infrastructure development.
