Atlas Copco Group Acquires German Portable Pump Specialist Heide Pumpen GmbH

Heide Pumpen GmbH, a well-established German distributor and service provider of portable pumps, has officially become part of the Atlas Copco Group.

Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, Heide Pumpen operates through multiple locations across the country. As a result of this acquisition, 42 employees will be integrated into the Atlas Copco Group.

The company primarily serves clients in the contracting, mining, and construction sectors, and also provides significant support to rental companies throughout Germany.

“The acquisition of Heide Pumpen provides an excellent opportunity to grow our expertise and presence within the portable flow market. Based on the knowledge of Heide Pumpen, we will be able to accelerate our service-expertise and presence within portable flow,” said Andrew Walker, Business Area President, Power Technique.

With this acquisition, Heide Pumpen has joined the service division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area, further strengthening the group’s footprint in fluid handling solutions and support services across Europe.
