Belgian Filtration Provider Masterfilter Joins Atlas Copco Group

Expansion in Belgium and Western Europe

Nacka, Sweden – Masterfilter NV, a Belgian provider of filtration solutions for liquids and gases, has officially become part of Atlas Copco Group. This acquisition will enhance Atlas Copco’s presence in Belgium and broaden its product offerings for the food, beverage, and chemical industries across Western Europe.

About Masterfilter

Masterfilter is based in Tessenderlo, Belgium, and has a team of three employees, all of whom will now be part of Atlas Copco. The company generated revenues of €2.6 million (30 MSEK) in 2024.

Strategic Growth in Compressor Technology

Philippe Ernens, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area, emphasized the strategic benefits of the acquisition:
“This acquisition will expand our presence in Belgium and increase our product offering to the food and beverage and chemical industries in Western Europe.”

Masterfilter will now operate under Atlas Copco’s Medical Gas Solutions division, within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
