Boston Dynamics and Analog Partner to Deploy Physical Intelligence Across the UAE

Boston Dynamics and Abu Dhabi–based technology company Analog have announced an exclusive regional partnership to bring Physical Intelligence to the United Arab Emirates, starting with deployments of Boston Dynamics’ four-legged robot, Spot. The collaboration aims to support smarter, more responsive cities by combining advanced robotics with real-time artificial intelligence at national scale.

Under the agreement, Analog becomes Boston Dynamics’ sole certified reseller, integrator, and service partner in the UAE, and its premier partner across the Middle East and North Africa. Beyond distribution, the two companies will jointly develop a next-generation robotics platform that embeds Analog’s AI system, Ana, at its core.

The partnership focuses on practical, citizen-centric applications including park inspections, environmental and accessibility monitoring, and preventive maintenance. Initial deployments will begin with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), targeting parks and public spaces to improve livability, safety, and operational efficiency.

At the center of the initiative is Physical Intelligence, an AI approach that enables machines to perceive their surroundings through sensors, build shared context using a continuously updated World Model, and act safely in real time. Analog designs and operates the UAE’s country-scale World Model as sovereign national infrastructure. The model integrates data from robots, sensors, and other systems to support real-time decision-making, guide robot movement, and improve service delivery across cities.

Spot robots provide the physical presence on the ground, capable of navigating stairs, uneven terrain, and complex environments while carrying modular sensor payloads. The World Model supplies shared situational awareness, allowing multiple robots and systems to coordinate effectively. Ana, Analog’s Neural Agent, uses this intelligence fabric to deliver clear, actionable insights and safe tasking based on live and historical data.

Robert Playter, CEO of Boston Dynamics, said the collaboration would expand the role of robots in cities, moving beyond industrial inspection toward full facility and public-realm monitoring. He noted that combining Spot with advanced world models enables broader use cases in safety, compliance, security, and predictive maintenance.

Alex Kipman, Founder and CEO of Analog, said the partnership demonstrates how physical and digital systems can operate as one at national scale. He emphasized that every deployment strengthens the UAE’s World Model, increasing its accuracy and long-term value as more robots and sensors come online.

Designed in Abu Dhabi and intended for global deployment, the platform is built to scale district by district while safeguarding public data and remaining open to future technologies. The partnership positions the UAE as a leading testbed for Physical Intelligence, blending robotics, AI, and digital twins to shape the next generation of living and learning cities.
