Bouygues Telecom Chosen for Rapid Response Network in France

Bouygues Telecom has strengthened its position in France’s security and emergency communication sector by becoming the key partner of ACMOSS (Agence des communications mobiles opérationnelles de sécurité et de secours) for Rapid Response Solutions (SRR).

This follows the launch of prioritized access to Bouygues Telecom’s 4G/5G network for emergency services, marking a major step in supporting the Future Radio Network (RRF)—a critical national communications infrastructure for security, emergency, health, and disaster response operations.

Bouygues Telecom will support the deployment of Rapid Response Solutions across the country, ensuring secure and reliable communications during major events or crises. These mobile, energy-independent units will be capable of satellite backbone links, guaranteeing coverage when fixed infrastructure is unavailable.

The Rapid Response Solutions program aims to deploy 4G network coverage anywhere in mainland France in under six hours. This ensures emergency and security teams can stay connected even in critical situations.

To prevent network congestion or outages, Bouygues Telecom will also use Deployable Base Stations (SBD) to provide strong, temporary coverage over several kilometers. This enhances the resilience and reliability of emergency communications nationwide.

“This partnership confirms Bouygues Telecom’s central role in technological innovation and critical infrastructure support,” said Guillaume Lambert, Director of ACMOSS.
“Bouygues Telecom’s solutions will strengthen the resilience of the Future Radio Network and ensure secure, high-availability communications for emergency and health services.”

“Thanks to our network quality, technical expertise, and agility, Bouygues Telecom is proud to support France’s critical communications with a resilient and secure network,” added François Treuil, Director of Bouygues Telecom Enterprise Division.
