Cemex CDP 2025 A List Highlights Climate Leadership

Monterrey, Mexico — Cemex has been named to CDP’s prestigious 2025 “A List”, the highest recognition awarded by the global environmental disclosure platform for corporate transparency and climate performance.

The recognition places Cemex among a select group of companies worldwide demonstrating strong climate leadership through high-quality environmental disclosure, robust risk management, and measurable action aligned with global decarbonization goals. Cemex’s inclusion follows its latest submission to the CDP 2025 Climate Change questionnaire.

“We are very proud to have achieved this recognition for our efforts in climate change disclosure,” said Ricardo Naya, Executive Vice President of Sustainability, Operations and Ventures at Cemex. “Disclosure is vital to taking meaningful action, and we remain committed to driving profitable decarbonization for the benefit of all our stakeholders.”

CDP’s scoring system is widely regarded as the global gold standard for corporate environmental transparency. In 2025, more than 22,000 companies disclosed environmental data through CDP, representing over half of global market capitalization. Only 4% of reporting companies earned a place on the CDP 2025 A List, underscoring the significance of Cemex’s achievement. In addition, Cemex received an “A-” rating for water security, reflecting strong practices in corporate transparency and sustainable water management.

CDP scores are increasingly used by investors and supply chains to guide decision-making and encourage sustainable business practices. The data helps companies, investors, and policymakers better understand climate risks, opportunities, and progress toward sustainability goals.

Earning a position on the Cemex CDP 2025 A List highlights the company’s continued commitment to transparency, innovation, and long-term value creation through sustainable construction solutions.
