Clark Builders Breaks Ground on Glenmore Protective Services Campus in Kelowna

Kelowna, BC — Clark Builders, a division of Turner Construction Company, has officially started construction on the Glenmore Protective Services Campus in Kelowna, British Columbia. This new facility is a key investment in public safety and emergency preparedness, designed to serve the growing Central Okanagan community.

The campus will bring together the Kelowna Fire Department’s Fire Station No. 5 and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue on one site. This shared location will help improve emergency response times and support regional coordination. The project is being delivered through an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model to ensure efficiency and collaboration.

Located near residential areas, UBC Okanagan, and Kelowna International Airport, the new facility includes advanced alerting systems and specialized training spaces for live-fire and rescue scenarios.

“This One Protective Service Campus represents an important step forward for community safety in Kelowna,” said Scott Benoit, Director of Project Development at Clark Builders. “It will enhance emergency response, improve coordination, and provide long-term value for the region.”
