CoreWeave Powers Runway’s Next-Generation Video Models

CoreWeave has announced a strategic agreement with Runway to provide high-performance AI cloud infrastructure for the development and deployment of Runway’s next-generation video generation models. Under the contract, CoreWeave will deliver purpose-built GPU infrastructure and integrated software tools designed to accelerate large-scale AI research, training, and inference.

Runway is a global AI company known for its advanced video, image, audio, and 3D world generation models, which are widely used by leading film studios, production houses, gaming companies, and research organizations. Its technologies also support emerging applications such as autonomous driving simulations, robotics, life sciences, and real-time avatar interactions.

As part of the agreement, Runway will utilize CoreWeave’s NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems to support compute-intensive training and inference workloads. The collaboration also includes the use of Weights & Biases (W&B) Models for workload observability, W&B Inference powered by the CoreWeave AI Cloud Platform, and CoreWeave AI Object Storage, enabling global, high-speed access to datasets without egress or transaction fees.

CoreWeave executives highlighted that the partnership reflects the growing need for specialized cloud platforms optimized for AI performance, efficiency, and scalability. Runway leadership emphasized that CoreWeave’s integrated AI cloud solutions will be critical to accelerating research and rapidly bringing advanced models to market.

The announcement further reinforces CoreWeave’s position as a leading AI-focused cloud provider, supported by industry-leading MLPerf benchmark results and top-tier performance rankings. For Runway, the collaboration marks a significant step toward scaling its generative video and world-model technologies across creative, industrial, and scientific domains.
