GGR Group Takes Delivery of Two Palfinger PCC 115.002 Crawler Cranes for UK Infrastructure Projects

GGR Group, a leading lifting solutions provider, has taken delivery of two Palfinger PCC 115.002 crawler cranes, further strengthening its compact crane fleet. One of the newly arrived units is set to be deployed on one of the UK’s largest nuclear power projects, showcasing the crane’s exceptional capability in high-stakes, restricted-access environments.

🏗️ Next-Gen Compact Power

The Palfinger PCC 115.002 redefines lifting potential in the compact crane category with a maximum lifting capacity of 30 tonnes, making it ideal for use in tight or sensitive workspaces, such as nuclear and infrastructure sites.

Key specifications include:

  • Maximum outreach: 20.7m (main boom), up to 33.3m with six-section jib
  • Maximum hook height: 22.5m (main boom), up to 36m with jib
  • 360° continuous slewing
  • Pick-and-carry capability for dynamic onsite use
  • 3.5-tonne hydraulic winch with 66m rope (optional 90m)
  • Non-marking tracks for indoor/sensitive areas
  • Stage V diesel engine and 415V electric power option for zero-emissions operations

Its modular build allows disassembly for easier transport and access to tight or enclosed sites—a key advantage in restricted or secure locations.

⚙️ Advanced Crane Intelligence and Safety

The PCC 115.002 is equipped with a suite of intelligent features, enhancing performance, control, and safety:

  • H-frame stabiliser system
  • PALcom P7 full-colour radio remote control
  • P-Fold assistance system for boom folding/unfolding
  • Active Oscillation Suppression to minimize boom sway
  • Paltronic P150 overload protection
  • Dual power system (diesel + electric)
  • Optional two-man work basket for elevated access
