Komatsu at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026: Innovations Unveiled

At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, global equipment manufacturer Komatsu is showcasing its latest generation of construction machinery, digital technologies and service solutions under the theme “Connected performance, driving your success.”

The company’s exhibit highlights how connected equipment and integrated digital platforms can transform machine data into practical business outcomes—helping contractors increase productivity, improve safety and manage the total cost of ownership.

Komatsu Highlights Connected Equipment and Digital Ecosystem

Located at booth W41945 in the West Hall, Komatsu’s presence at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 features one of the company’s most extensive equipment lineups in recent years. Several machines are being introduced to the North American market for the first time.

Each piece of equipment is designed to deliver high performance independently, but Komatsu emphasises that the greatest value comes when machines are connected to its digital ecosystem. This ecosystem integrates technologies such as telematics, fleet management platforms, artificial intelligence and autonomous operation.

According to Rod Bull, CEO of Komatsu North America, customers increasingly expect equipment and technology to work together across their entire operation.

“Owners and fleet managers want equipment and technology that work together to create value across the enterprise,” Bull said. “Connected performance means delivering machines, data and services that support better decisions, daily productivity and long-term operational value.”

New Excavators Introduced at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026

Among the most notable equipment showcased at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 are Komatsu’s new excavator models designed to combine operator comfort with advanced digital capabilities.

  • Komatsu PC220LCi-12 excavator – equipped with Intelligent Machine Control (IMC) 3.0, the latest generation of Komatsu’s automated excavation technology.
  • Komatsu PC365LC-11 multifunction excavator – designed for demanding jobsite applications with enhanced versatility and performance.

These machines highlight Komatsu’s focus on integrating automation and operator-assistance technologies to improve jobsite efficiency and precision.

These machines incorporate Komatsu’s proprietary Hydraulic Mechanical Transmission (HMT) system, improved cab ergonomics and embedded digital technologies designed to reduce fuel consumption and shorten cycle times.

Meanwhile, the company is displaying two next-generation dozers equipped with advanced steering systems and redesigned operator cabs aimed at helping operators of varying experience levels achieve consistent results on the jobsite.

Haul Trucks and Autonomous Quarry Solutions

Komatsu is also highlighting advancements in quarry operations and autonomous technology.

The Komatsu HD605-10 haul truck is featured with improved performance capabilities and integration with Smart Quarry systems. The company is also demonstrating Smart Quarry Autonomous, a solution enabling autonomous truck operation for both newly manufactured vehicles and retrofitted existing fleets.

In addition, Komatsu plans to unveil an all-new articulated haul truck designed for the higher end of the industry payload range, featuring innovative traction control engineering.

Digital Platforms: My Komatsu and Smart Construction

Beyond machinery, Komatsu is emphasising digital transformation across construction operations.

Visitors can explore the expanded capabilities of My Komatsu, the company’s enterprise platform that integrates fleet information, planning tools and support services into a unified interface.

Komatsu is also demonstrating its Smart Construction suite, which includes software and hardware tools designed to:

  • track project progress in real time
  • plan excavation and earthmoving tasks precisely
  • improve communication across the jobsite

One new addition being showcased is the Smart Construction Dashboard Mobile, enabling field teams to access project data directly on mobile devices.
