Liebherr-Aerospace to Launch New Service Center in Dubai – Strengthening Aviation Support Across the Middle East

Dubai South, UAE – Liebherr-Aerospace has announced the launch of a new service center within the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai. Operations are scheduled to begin in early 2026, marking a major step in expanding aftermarket repair capacity for commercial aircraft, business jets, and helicopters across the Middle East.

Strategic Location for Faster Service

The new facility is situated next to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC-AMIA), offering close proximity to regional operators and aviation partners. With this strategic location, Liebherr-Aerospace will be able to respond faster, improve logistics, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Enhanced MRO Services

Certified according to EASA/GCAA Part 145 standards, the service center will provide:

  • Local MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) services
  • Optimized turnaround times
  • Full OEM-quality support
  • Faster and more cost-effective logistics

Until now, customers in the Middle East relied on service centers in Europe and the United States. This new facility brings expert support directly to the region.

Tailored Support for Regional Customers

Through its global network, Liebherr-Aerospace will offer:

  • Digital condition monitoring
  • Product support and logistics optimization
  • Spare parts pooling
  • Customised solutions for regional operational needs

This expansion strengthens the aviation infrastructure of the UAE and supports the rapidly growing Middle East aviation market.

Commitment to Sustainability

All materials and processes at the service center will follow the EU’s REACH regulation, ensuring safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainability. Additionally, shorter transport routes will significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and improve the facility’s overall ecological footprint.

Statement from Liebherr-Aerospace

“With the new Dubai facility, we aim to bring value and performance directly to our regional customers. It represents our commitment to innovation, proximity, and sustainability in the aviation industry,”
