Høje Taastrup, Denmark – July 2025 – Logicenters has announced a major investment in Denmark’s logistics infrastructure with the acquisition and future development of a 37,000 m² modern logistics center in Høje Taastrup, one of the country’s most strategically important locations for supply chain operations.
The development, acquired from Castellum, will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of 8,500 m² is scheduled for completion by January 2027, while a second phase comprising 25,000 m² is expected to be finalized by 2030. This investment adds to Logicenters’ growing Nordic portfolio and reinforces its long-term commitment to sustainable and efficient logistics facilities.
The new center will incorporate renewable energy solutions, including rooftop solar panels, and use circular construction methods to repurpose materials from existing structures. Its location near Copenhagen, with easy access to motorways, ports, and Copenhagen Airport, makes it ideal for efficient and low-emission logistics operations.
“The acquisition in Høje Taastrup is a significant milestone in our mission to provide logistics infrastructure across the Nordics,” said Thomas Petersen, Commercial Manager at Logicenters Denmark. “We’re now well-positioned to meet the growing demand for facilities that are both strategically located and sustainably developed.”
This development is also part of a broader vision for the future of logistics in Denmark. According to Thomas Riise-Jakobsen, partner and head of Nrep Denmark, the investment represents more than just physical space—it’s about creating the infrastructure of tomorrow to meet changing demands brought by e-commerce growth, ESG regulations, and urbanization.
“We look forward to developing 37,000 m² that supports our customers’ need to be close to Copenhagen while helping them operate from sustainable buildings,” he added.
The phased construction model supports both immediate and future logistics needs, offering scalability in a high-demand region. The Høje Taastrup facility is expected to become a central hub for sustainable and efficient supply chains in Denmark.
