Swiss construction company Losinger Marazzi, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, has secured a major contract in the canton of Zug, Switzerland. The company will build new facilities for the Zug public transport authority ZVB, the emergency services RDZ, and the cantonal administration.

The project is valued at CHF 242 million, or approximately €260 million, and aims to improve infrastructure and provide a better working environment for essential public services that support the region’s growing population.

  • A new office building for ZVB
  • An underground bus parking area

  • Around 250 workstations for cantonal staff

The complex will cover a total of 26,000 square meters. Construction will begin in summer 2026 and is scheduled for completion in 2030.

Sustainability Focus

The project will follow the Minergie-P-ECO standard, ensuring energy efficiency and the use of environmentally responsible materials.

Expertise in Mixed-Use Projects

Bouygues Construction has experience in mixed-use infrastructure and logistics projects. Some similar projects include:

  • Belliard bus depot in Paris, which is being modernized with redevelopment above the existing structure
  • Sky Center in Gennevilliers, France, where an old office building was converted into an urban business park
  • An urban development project in Zug, transforming an industrial site into a mixed-use neighborhood with residential, office, and retail spaces
