Losinger Marazzi Wins New Construction Contract in Zug, Switzerland

Losinger Marazzi, the Swiss branch of Bouygues Construction, has won a major new project in the canton of Zug. The company will build new facilities for the Zug public transport authority (ZVB), the Zug emergency services (RDZ), and the cantonal administration. The total cost of the project is CHF 242 million (€260 million).

The site currently holds the ZVB and emergency services buildings. Losinger Marazzi will fully redevelop the area to create modern, practical, and comfortable spaces for these growing public services.

The ZVB will receive a new office building with a large underground parking area for buses. A second building will be built for the emergency services, giving them high-quality, efficient infrastructure for serving the local community. Part of this building will also include around 250 workspaces for the cantonal government.

The full complex will offer about 26,000 m² of floor space. Construction will start in summer 2026 and finish in 2030. The project meets the Minergie-P-ECO standard, which ensures strong energy efficiency and the use of eco-friendly materials.

Bouygues Construction continues to show strong expertise in mixed-use developments that combine offices, transport facilities, and logistics. The company has worked on similar large-scale projects, such as bus depots in Paris and business parks in Gennevilliers.

Losinger Marazzi is also developing another major urban project in Zug, transforming an old industrial site into a mixed-use area with homes, offices, and shops. Parts of this project will be completed in 2026 and 2027.
