Novartis ANZ Moves to Lendlease Tower in North Sydney

Global pharmaceutical company Novartis ANZ has signed a lease for new office space at Lendlease’s Victoria Cross Tower in North Sydney, becoming the latest high-profile tenant to join the landmark development.

Novartis ANZ will occupy around 1,700 square metres across one mid-rise floor of the tower, which sits directly above the Victoria Cross Metro Station and offers panoramic views of Sydney Harbour.

The move brings Novartis ANZ alongside major tenants such as NBN, Ventia, and wellness brand One Playground, which will soon open a four-level gym and wellness facility offering more than 200 weekly fitness and wellness classes.

Leasing activity at the tower has been driven by its strong sustainability credentials. The building is net zero carbon, fully electric, and can be powered entirely by renewable energy. It is targeting top industry certifications, including a Platinum WELL rating, 5.5 Star NABERS Energy rating, and 6-Star Green Star rating, helping tenants meet their own environmental goals.

“We’re seeing strong interest from forward-thinking organisations across health, technology, and professional services sectors,” said Alex Frankl, Project Director for Victoria Cross at Lendlease. “They value the connection to the new metro, premium amenities, and a workplace that supports their sustainability targets.”

Matt Zeller, Country President of Novartis ANZ, added: “This move reflects our vision for growth and innovation. The new workplace will help us better serve our stakeholders, strengthen our culture, and continue reimagining medicine to improve and extend lives.”

The Victoria Cross precinct, which opened last year, includes retail and dining options, a pedestrian-friendly laneway, and public spaces designed to foster community activity. The Victoria Cross Tower is already over 30% leased and is expected to reach practical completion later this year.
