Saint-Gobain, the worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction, today announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Ponsardin Industries for the sale of SFIC Belgium, a leading specialist construction materials distribution business in plasterboard, insulation, and ceilings.
With estimated 2025 sales of around €75 million and 123 employees, SFIC Belgium operates a nationwide network of 10 branches, providing robust coverage across the Belgian market.
The potential divestment is expected to be finalized by the end of 2025, subject to the successful completion of the information and consultation procedure with the relevant employee representative bodies.
This transaction marks another milestone in Saint-Gobain’s ongoing portfolio optimization strategy, reinforcing its commitment to focus on sustainable growth areas and core business operations.
