SANY Marine has announced a strategic partnership with Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) to bring its latest telehandlers and material handling equipment to the Australian market, strengthening competition in one of the region’s fastest-growing industrial sectors.
The agreement was unveiled at SANY’s Global Customer Summit & Smart E-Product Launch and marks a significant step in expanding telehandlers in Australia across industries including mining, construction, rental, agriculture, and bulk handling.
National Distribution, Local Expertise
Under the partnership, CEA—part of the CFC Group—will leverage its extensive national distribution and service network to introduce SANY’s telehandlers and material handlers nationwide. The collaboration combines SANY’s global manufacturing scale and innovation with CEA’s deep understanding of Australian operating conditions.
Known for rugged durability, energy efficiency, and smart technology integration, SANY’s equipment aligns with Australia’s growing demand for high-performance and sustainable material handling solutions.
“Partnering with CEA represents a strategic milestone for SANY Marine’s global expansion,” said Jeff Fu, Director of SANY Group. “Australia is a key market, and this collaboration allows us to better serve customers with reliable and intelligent equipment.”
Meeting Demand for Sustainable Equipment
CEA executives highlighted that sustainability and future-ready technology were key drivers behind the partnership. SANY’s global R&D footprint—spanning China, the United States, Germany, and Brazil—along with its focus on electric and intelligent machinery, complements CEA’s expanding product portfolio.
“CEA partners with brands that understand local customer needs and future industry requirements,” said Philip Cardaci, Executive Chairman of CFC Group. “SANY’s expertise and innovation make them a strong fit for the Australian market.”
Product Rollout Begins in 2026
The partnership takes effect immediately. SANY’s telehandlers will begin arriving at CEA’s national branches from April 2026, with material handlers scheduled to launch later in the year.
CEA CEO Hylton Taylor said the company is well positioned to support the rollout. “These are product segments we know well, and we’re excited to showcase SANY’s capabilities and long-term focus on customer needs.”
Strengthening Global and Local Alignment
As SANY continues to advance its globalisation strategy, the partnership underscores its commitment to working with trusted local partners to deliver equipment that is both globally competitive and locally optimised.
By aligning innovation with regional expertise, SANY and CEA aim to support Australia’s evolving material handling needs while advancing sustainability and operational efficiency.
