Turner Construction Company and Tennessee Oncology have announced the opening of the new Midtown Medical Office Building, a $105 million, five-story facility designed to advance cancer care in Middle Tennessee.
The 311,881-square-foot building consolidates multiple oncology specialties, clinical research, and patient support services under one roof—enhancing coordination, convenience, and access for patients and caregivers. Turner provided full preconstruction and construction management services for the complex project, which also includes three underground parking levels and advanced treatment spaces.
The facility integrates medical and radiation oncology, drug development units, and cutting-edge technologies for prevention and early detection. It also offers nutrition counseling, social work, and patient navigation programs to ensure holistic care for cancer patients.
“This project is about more than a building—it’s about creating a place where patients and families feel supported during some of the most challenging times in their lives,” said Paul Lawson, Turner Construction Company. “We’re proud to partner with Tennessee Oncology to expand access to lifesaving treatment and strengthen Middle Tennessee’s healthcare landscape.”
The Midtown Medical Office Building represents a major step in reinforcing Nashville’s position as a hub for world-class cancer care and medical innovation.
