Turner Construction Company, in partnership with CARCON Industries and Source Building Group, celebrated the topping-out of the Law and Education Building for Texas A&M-Fort Worth, marking the completion of vertical construction on this transformative project.

The eight-story, 238,000-square-foot facility is a cornerstone of the new Texas A&M University System Campus in downtown Fort Worth. It will house professional programs from Texas A&M University, Tarleton State University, the Texas A&M School of Law, and various disciplines, including engineering, agriculture, emergency management, and health sciences.

This milestone signifies the progress of the first phase of a multi-phase development that aims to foster academic-industry partnerships, preparing students for workforce success while driving economic development in the region.

Nick Barker, Vice President and General Manager at Turner Construction Company, stated:

“This milestone was achieved due to the commitment of the workforce and marks a pivotal step in creating a facility that will shape the future of education and workforce readiness of students. We deeply appreciate Texas A&M for giving us the opportunity to work on this project. Together, we are bringing their vision to life.”

Once complete, the Law and Education Building will be a hub for academic excellence, collaboration, and innovation, becoming a critical center for economic growth and modern professional education. The building will also serve as the new home for the award-winning Texas A&M School of Law.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2026, reflecting Texas A&M-Fort Worth’s commitment to fostering collaboration and preparing students for future challenges.
