Turner Construction Company has officially opened Peabody Union, a $284 million, 1.2-million-square-foot mixed-use development along the Cumberland River in Nashville’s South Bank neighborhood. The project brings together residences, workspaces, retail, dining, and public spaces to create a vibrant new downtown destination.
Turner provided preconstruction and construction management services for the two-building, five-acre development, designed to support Nashville’s fast-paced growth while focusing on sustainability, wellness, and connectivity.
The Peabody Union project includes:
- Olive at Peabody Union: A 27-story residential tower with 355 apartments and amenities such as a rooftop lounge, coworking areas, fitness center, and pet spa.
- Class-A office building: A six-story structure with a green roof, connected to a two-acre public commons featuring art, food, retail, and wellness programming.
- Central plaza: 50,000 square feet of retail and dining plus a 1,050-space underground parking garage to maintain walkability.
- Bluff Landing: A one-acre riverfront park with trails, lawns, and an observation deck linking to the Cumberland River Greenway.
