Vicinity Centres and LVMH Strategic Partnership Update

Vicinity Centres has announced the extension of its strategic partnership with global luxury leader LVMH, a move set to transform Chatswood Chase into northern Sydney’s premier fashion and luxury retail destination.

Building on successful collaborations at Chadstone in Victoria and QueensPlaza in Queensland, the renewed partnership will see LVMH’s portfolio of iconic Maisons anchor the redeveloped Chatswood Chase. Once complete, the centre will host a concentration of globally renowned luxury brands rivalled only by Chadstone, complemented by premium Australian and international designers, contemporary athleisure labels, and an expanding lifestyle offering.

The partnership underscores a shared commitment to long-term value creation and deep expertise in luxury retail. Vicinity Centres CEO and Managing Director Peter Huddle said the agreement reflects mutual trust and a strong understanding of what defines world-class luxury destinations, with twelve flagship LVMH brands set to open at Chatswood Chase.

LVMH also highlighted Australia’s strategic importance, noting that the revitalisation of Chatswood Chase provides an opportunity to deliver elevated experiences rooted in craftsmanship, culture, and service excellence for Australian customers.

Chatswood Chase is undergoing a landmark transformation, including a full redesign across all four levels and the addition of a rooftop lifestyle and wellness precinct. The redevelopment aims to position the centre alongside the world’s leading premium shopping destinations.

The project will open in two phases. The first phase, launching from October 2025 ahead of the Christmas trading period, will unveil the ground level and levels two and three with a refreshed fashion and expanded lifestyle mix. The second and final phase, expected from April 2026, will introduce northern Sydney’s most comprehensive luxury retail precinct, marking a major milestone in the centre’s evolution.

With this investment, Vicinity Centres continues to demonstrate its capability to deliver large-scale, transformational retail developments, reinforcing Chatswood Chase as a flagship destination for Sydney’s affluent North Shore communities.
