Skanska to Build Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant in Nokia, Finland, for EUR 35 Million

Skanska has secured a contract with Nokian Vesi Oy to construct a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant in Nokia, Finland. The project, valued at EUR 35 million (approximately SEK 400 million), will be recorded in Skanska’s Nordic order bookings for Q4 2024.

  • Facility Size: Approximately 12,000 square meters, spread across four buildings:
  • Process Plant
  • Monitoring Building
  • Garage and Repair Facility
  • Equalization Pumping Station
  • Technology: Advanced mechanical, biological, and chemical purification systems to efficiently remove nitrogen and other pollutants.
