AECOM, in joint venture with AtkinsRéalis, has been awarded a landmark contract by the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) of the HKSAR Government to design and supervise construction for Package 3 of the San Tin / Lok Ma Chau Development Node—a major component of Hong Kong’s ambitious Northern Metropolis strategy, which will support approximately 2.5 million residents.
Strategic Development Highlights
- Package 3 spans 190 hectares and supports innovation & technology, housing, and community infrastructure.
- Completion is targeted for 2038 and aligns with Hong Kong’s Smart City strategy.
- AECOM will deliver comprehensive services:
– Site formation and engineering infrastructure
