The company’s HW155H hydrogen-powered wheeled excavator concept is set to be a highlight of the show in April 2025. This cutting-edge machine, now closer to production reality, has been acknowledged by judges for its ability to reduce engine exhaust emissions and contribute to carbon reduction on construction sites.

Collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company
At the heart of HD Hyundai’s exhibition, the hydrogen excavator concept will be featured alongside other advanced machines and solutions. Hyundai has been developing zero-emission technologies for construction and industrial machinery. HD Hyundai will showcase a construction industry-first range of innovative energy storage and refueling solutions, created in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company.

These solutions aim to make hydrogen a viable alternative for global infrastructure, civil engineering, and building projects. The company’s low-pressure, high-density, solid-state storage system doubles the capacity of a traditional hydrogen tank while operating at lower pressures. This design optimizes space, reduces refueling times, and enhances safety on construction sites.
