Volvo CE Showcases ECR25 Electric Excavator in Taiwan: A Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation

Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) reaffirmed its focus on sustainability and community engagement with two major events in Taiwan, where the innovative ECR25 Electric Excavator took center stage.

VKC Family Day: Supporting Communities in Hualien

At the Volvo King Club (VKC) Family Day, held in the picturesque town of Fuli, Volvo CE and its Taiwan dealer, Taikoo Motors, demonstrated solidarity with the Hualien community following recent earthquakes. This event celebrated customer loyalty while emphasizing sustainable recovery efforts.

Attendees explored the ECR25 Electric Excavator, a compact, zero-emissions machine designed for urban construction and environmentally sensitive projects. The excavator’s lithium-ion battery enables near-silent operation and up to four hours of runtime on a single charge, highlighting Volvo CE’s push for greener construction solutions.

Taiwan Yunlin International Agricultural Machinery Expo: A Revolutionary Debut

The ECR25 Electric Excavator made its official debut in Taiwan at the Taiwan Yunlin International Agricultural Machinery Expo, showcasing its potential for transforming Taiwan’s construction and agricultural sectors.

Visitors witnessed live demonstrations of the machine’s eco-friendly features, such as:

  • Zero emissions for sustainable operation.
  • Minimal energy consumption during standby mode.
  • An innovative DC fast-charging system, reducing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

This milestone reinforces Volvo CE’s leadership in providing innovative, battery-powered solutions across Asia, including in South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

Driving a Greener Future

The dual events reflect Volvo CE’s broader vision of blending technological innovation with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

Volvo CE’s vision for the future goes beyond manufacturing exceptional machinery—we are dedicated to building sustainable communities and driving meaningful change,” said Jing Peng Peh, Head of Marketing for the Philippines, Taiwan, and Brunei at Volvo Construction Equipment.

The ECR25 Electric Excavator is a testament to this commitment, offering solutions that balance environmental responsibility with superior performance.

Thanking Partners and Communities

Through initiatives like the VKC Family Day and the Agricultural Machinery Expo, Volvo CE extends gratitude to its customers, partners, and communities for their ongoing support. Together, they aim to shape a cleaner, greener future for the construction industry and beyond.
