Skanska to Build EUR 95M Data Center in Finland

HELSINKI — September 2025Skanska has signed a contract with a leading technology company to construct a new data center facility in Finland. The contract is valued at EUR 95 million (approximately SEK 1.1 billion) and will be recorded in the company’s Nordic order bookings for the third quarter of 2025.

The project scope includes core and shell construction of the data center. Work is scheduled to begin in fall 2025 and is expected to be completed by fall 2026.

This investment highlights Skanska’s growing role in Nordic digital infrastructure development, supporting the region’s increasing demand for secure, sustainable, and high-capacity data facilities.
