New Holland Construction has completed its in-house D-Series mini excavator lineup with the launch of five new diesel models: E12D, E19D, E30D, E38D and E60D. The additions join the previously released E42D and E50D models introduced in 2025, creating the company’s most comprehensive mini excavator portfolio to date.
With two electric machines — the E15X and E25X — also part of the D-Series family, the lineup now totals nine models, covering a broad spectrum of customer needs from compact residential work to heavy-duty jobsite applications.
Dan Kakareka, Product Marketing Manager for New Holland Construction North America, said the expanded lineup delivers consistent performance, comfort and features across all sizes, catering to rental fleets, landscapers, utility contractors and high-demand operators alike.

Three Machine Classes, Seven Diesel Options
Compact Class: E12D and E19D
The E12D and E19D serve the compact segment, offering lightweight, maneuverable machines suited for:
- Residential construction
- Landscaping
- Rental fleets
- Light utility work
With retractable tracks and a narrow footprint, these models are engineered for confined spaces such as tight yards and gated properties. The E19D offers enhanced hydraulic performance and an available heated cab for colder climates.
Mid-Size Class: E30D and E38D
The E30D and E38D are positioned as versatile, one-size-fits-all machines for contractors managing diverse workloads.
The 3.5-metric-ton E38D balances power, portability and flexibility, supporting applications such as:
- Utility installation
- Urban construction
- Roadside maintenance
- Light demolition
These models remain transportable without requiring a CDL license and are designed for quieter operation in populated areas. Starting with the E38D and above, operators can opt for a six-way blade to enhance grading precision and finish work efficiency.
Large Class: E60D
At the top of the diesel lineup is the E60D, built as a heavy-duty jobsite performer. It offers:
- Increased hydraulic output
- Premium cab configuration
- Compatibility with high-demand attachments such as mulchers
Operator-focused features include available heat and air conditioning, an air-suspension seat, expanded lighting, and enhanced visibility systems for extended workdays.
Standard Features Across the Lineup
New Holland emphasized consistency across all D-Series machines. Standard equipment includes:
- First and second auxiliary hydraulics
- Pattern changers
- Rear-view cameras
- LED work lights
- Zero tail swing design
Cab options are available on all models except the E12D. Machines are compatible with CNH-branded buckets, thumbs and couplers, as well as industry-standard attachments including hammers, augers, grapples, compaction plates, mowers and mulchers. Select models feature a dedicated mulcher hydraulic line for uninterrupted high-flow performance.
Operator Comfort and Maintenance Focus
Automotive-style cabs incorporate intuitive layouts, adjustable controls and programmable attachment flow settings. Serviceability enhancements include:
- Tiltable cabs or canopies for hydraulic access
- Reversible cooling fans (on larger models)
- Electric fuel pump for simplified remote refueling
All D-Series models include a seven-year telematics subscription via myNewHollandConstruction, enabling fleet managers to monitor machine performance, health and location at no additional cost upon purchase.
Industry Debut at CONEXPO 2026
The full D-Series lineup will be showcased at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, taking place March 3–7, 2026, in Las Vegas. New Holland will exhibit in Booth #29055 in the Festival Grounds.
The completion of the D-Series range positions New Holland Construction to compete aggressively across the mini excavator segment, offering diesel and electric solutions tailored to evolving contractor and fleet demands.
