Doosan Bobcat Inc. will debut a suite of AI-driven, next-generation jobsite technologies at CES 2026, bringing intelligence directly to construction equipment and simplifying machine operation for a rapidly evolving workforce. These advancements are designed to counter challenges tied to workforce transitions, equipment downtime, and growing site complexity, with a clear emphasis on accessible, human-first design.
The company will unveil new technology that brings artificial intelligence out of the cloud and onto the jobsite, integrated directly into Bobcat equipment to boost productivity, reduce downtime, and enhance operator confidence.
Addressing the Industry’s Three Critical Pain Points
1. Workforce Transitions
With 41% of the U.S. construction workforce expected to retire by 2031, Bobcat will showcase AI-driven operational guidance systems that deliver real-time instructions, simplify complex maneuvers, and support less-experienced operators while elevating precision for seasoned professionals.
2. Equipment Downtime
Bobcat will introduce AI-enabled diagnostics and troubleshooting, giving technicians immediate access to machine health insights, historical repair data, and recommended solutions to keep critical equipment running and prevent project delays.
3. Rising Jobsite Complexity
A new radar-based awareness system will be previewed, designed to detect hazards, monitor surroundings, and reduce collision risks through real-time alerts and operator interventions.
Additional CES 2026 Debuts
Bobcat will also unveil:
- A next-generation operator display experience with integrated jobsite data.
- A forward-looking concept machine showcasing future machine intelligence.
- A rugged, stackable electric power system supporting compact equipment and sustainable operations.
The full technology suite will be detailed during Bobcat’s CES Media Days press conference on Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. at Mandalay Bay I, with hands-on demos available at the Doosan booth, Las Vegas Convention Center, West Hall 5840.
