The World Final tested participants through practical technical challenges and team-based assessments.
South Korea’s Torque 360 Secures Second Place
Torque 360, representing Volvo dealer Korea Sales & Service, achieved second place in the global competition.
The South Korean team competed against Golden Boys from Volvo Maszyny Budowlane Poland in the Gold and Silver Final.
The Polish team ultimately secured the world championship title.
However, Torque 360’s runner-up finish marked another strong result for the South Korean dealership.
KSS has now achieved a podium finish in two consecutive competitions, including its previous championship victory.
The result demonstrates the dealership’s continued performance in technical service and aftersales support.
Indonesia Pandawa Represents Region Asia
Indonesia Pandawa, representing Volvo dealer PT Indotruck Utama, also participated in the World Final.
The Indonesian team earned its place after progressing through the global qualification process.
Its participation reflected the technical capabilities of Volvo CE’s dealer network in Indonesia.
Together, Torque 360 and Indonesia Pandawa represented Region Asia against leading dealer teams from around the world.
Their performances highlighted the region’s focus on technical training, teamwork and customer service.
Volvo CE Highlights Dealer Network Expertise
Joakim Arndorw, Head of Region Asia at Volvo CE, praised the teams’ achievements.
“Achieving this level of performance in consecutive competitions is a remarkable accomplishment and demonstrates the technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities and teamwork that underpin the high standards of customer support across our dealer network,” Arndorw said.
He also highlighted KSS’s consistent performance across consecutive competitions.
According to Arndorw, the results reflect the quality of the dealership’s aftersales service.
The competition provides an opportunity to recognise technicians who support customers throughout the operating life of their equipment.
Technical Challenges Test Troubleshooting and Teamwork
The Volvo CE Masters competition evaluates the practical skills required in equipment servicing and maintenance.
During the World Final, teams completed challenges involving machine fault diagnosis, troubleshooting procedures and technical problem-solving.
Participants also had to recommend suitable solutions for different equipment-related scenarios.
In addition, the competition assessed communication, decision-making and teamwork under pressure.
Teams were expected to demonstrate safety awareness, environmental responsibility and quality-focused service practices.
These skills are important for technicians working with construction and mining equipment.
Volvo CE Masters Builds on 35 Years of Training
Volvo CE Masters was first held in 1990 as part of the 30th anniversary of Volvo CE Service Training.
Since then, the competition has developed into a global platform for authorised dealership technicians and aftersales professionals.
The programme encourages participants to improve their technical knowledge and practical service capabilities.
It also creates opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing across Volvo CE’s international dealer network.
Furthermore, the competition recognises the role of aftersales teams in maintaining equipment reliability.
Skilled Aftersales Teams Support Equipment Productivity
Reliable aftersales service plays an important role in construction, mining and other equipment-intensive industries.
Equipment downtime can affect project schedules, operating costs and overall productivity.
Therefore, technicians must identify faults accurately and recommend effective maintenance solutions.
As construction equipment technologies evolve, technical expertise becomes increasingly important.
Volvo CE continues to develop its products, services and digital technologies.
Consequently, its dealer network must maintain the skills required to support customers using these systems.
The Masters competition helps demonstrate these capabilities through practical assessments.
Region Asia Strengthens Its Position in Global Aftersales Competition
The achievements of Torque 360 and Indonesia Pandawa highlight the capabilities of Volvo CE’s Asian dealer network.
KSS’s second-place finish continued its strong record in the global competition.
Meanwhile, PT Indotruck Utama’s participation demonstrated Indonesia’s presence among the qualifying international teams.
The Volvo CE Masters World Final 2026 also reinforced the importance of technical training and professional development.
Through the competition, Volvo CE recognises the technicians and aftersales professionals who help customers maintain equipment performance, reliability and productivity.
