Aichach, Germany – June 2025 – Mikschl Autokrane GmbH, the well-regarded crane and transport service provider based in Aichach, has reinforced its fleet with two cutting-edge Liebherr mobile cranes: the LTM 1070-4.2 and the LTM 1230-5.1. This strategic investment highlights the company’s commitment to maintaining a modern, high-performance crane lineup capable of serving a wide range of construction needs across Bavaria.
High-Performance Lifting with the LTM 1070-4.2
Replacing a 60-tonne predecessor, the LTM 1070-4.2 introduces greater lifting capacity, enhanced mobility, and modern efficiency features. This compact 4-axle 70-tonne crane is suitable for nearly all construction sites within its class and offers:
- ECOmode and ECOdrive: Lower fuel consumption and reduced noise levels
- High on-road ballast load capability
- Speed-sensitive rear axle steering for superior off-road agility
- Driver comfort praised by operators, contributing to safety and efficiency
“Our fleet always carries the latest generation of cranes, and the 1070-4.2 is perfect for versatile site applications,” said Roland Mikschl, Managing Director of Mikschl Autokrane.
Lifting to New Heights with the LTM 1230-5.1
Also added to the fleet is the LTM 1230-5.1, a 5-axle powerhouse designed for demanding projects requiring extended reach and heavy-duty lifting. The crane replaces an older 220-tonne model and brings:
- 75-meter telescopic boom – ideal for high-angle operations like tower crane erection and wind turbine maintenance
- VarioBase® Plus – enhanced lifting capacity through wider rear outriggers, calculated dynamically by the LICCON control system
- Robust versatility in the upper lifting class
Service, Reliability, and Daily Use
Mikschl Autokrane credits its decision to stick with Liebherr to the manufacturer’s reliable spare parts supply, responsive technical service, and exceptional operator comfort.
“Our drivers say Liebherr cranes offer unmatched road travel comfort,” noted Mikschl. “And with fast support and parts always on hand, uptime is maximized.”
Currently operating in Munich, Augsburg, Ingolstadt, and Donauwörth, the company’s twelve-person team is already deploying the two new cranes on both major and minor construction projects.
Commitment to Excellence
With the addition of its ninth crane, Mikschl continues to solidify its presence as a trusted partner in Germany’s construction logistics sector. Backed by Liebherr’s innovation and engineering strength, the company is poised to meet the increasing demands of modern building projects with efficiency, safety, and flexibility.
