Turner Tops Out Hudson Valley Community College’s Applied Technology Education Center

The 130,000-square-foot Applied Technology Education Center will provide advanced learning spaces for students.

Turner Construction Company joined Hudson Valley Community College, project partners, trade contractors, and community leaders to celebrate the topping out of the Applied Technology Education Center.

The milestone marks the placement of the building’s final structural steel beam. It also signals the completion of the facility’s structural framework and continued progress on the new academic center.

Advanced Learning for High-Tech Careers

Once complete, the approximately 130,000-square-foot Applied Technology Education Center will offer state-of-the-art learning environments. The facility will prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor technology, engineering, robotics, clean energy, and other growing industries.

In addition, the center will support hands-on education through specialized laboratories and flexible instructional spaces. Collaborative learning environments and industry-focused training areas will also help strengthen New York’s technology workforce.
