CIFM / Interzum Guangzhou 2027: What to Expect

CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2027 to Focus on Global Furniture Co-Creation

CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2027 will take place from March 28 to 31 at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China.

The furniture manufacturing trade fair will cover 170,000 square metres. More than 1,700 exhibitors are expected to showcase products across the furniture supply chain.

The event will feature woodworking machinery, upholstery machinery, hardware, interior products, wood panels, adhesives and textiles.

Global Furniture Industry Gathering

CIFM / interzum guangzhou will take place alongside China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) – Office and Commercial Space.

Together, the two events will connect materials, machinery and finished furniture products. Organisers expect more than 220,000 professional visitors from over 180 countries and regions.

Furniture manufacturers, traders, designers and project specialists will attend. Brand decision-makers will also meet suppliers and explore new procurement opportunities.

WeMake Theme

The 2027 edition will use the theme “WeMake – Beyond Craft, Toward Care.”

The theme follows the 2026 focus on the Smart Revolution. It highlights the growing role of human needs in furniture manufacturing.

Meanwhile, AI and smart manufacturing continue to transform production. As a result, manufacturers must focus more on user experience and customer value.

“We” represents the wider furniture industry community. This includes manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies, engineers, designers, brands and end-users.

“Make” represents the full furniture production chain. It covers materials, machinery, manufacturing processes and complete space solutions.

Expanding Global Connections

CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2027 will use resources from Koelnmesse and China Foreign Trade Centre Group. The organisers aim to connect Chinese companies with international markets.

Furthermore, the event will support cross-border and cross-sector cooperation. It will also help suppliers develop from single-product manufacturers into complete solution providers.

International companies including Ateja, Bostik, Boyteks, DewertOkin, LINAK, REHAU, RENOLIT, Schattdecor and SURTECO have confirmed participation.

National and regional pavilions from Germany, the United States, Türkiye and Taiwan have also started recruitment.

The organisers expect CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2027 to create new business opportunities across Asia-Pacific and global markets. The event will also promote collaboration across the furniture industry’s full value chain.
