CNH and Bourgault Strategic Alliance Explained

CNH and Bourgault Announce Strategic Alliance to Expand Global Seeding Portfolio

CNH has announced a strategic alliance with Bourgault Industries. The partnership will expand CNH’s seeding equipment portfolio across key agricultural markets.

The agreement will bring co-branded Case IH and New Holland equipment to customers. Bourgault will manufacture the equipment. CNH will distribute it through its dealer network in North America, Australia and other key markets.

The portfolio will include precision seeding systems and air drills. It will also feature high-capacity air carts. Digital technology and control systems will further expand the offering.

Expanding Seeding Solutions

The CNH and Bourgault strategic alliance supports CNH’s Path to 2030 strategy. The partnership will help CNH bring advanced seeding solutions to market faster.

In addition, dealers will gain access to a broader seeding portfolio. This can strengthen their competitiveness and create new growth opportunities.

The alliance combines Bourgault’s seeding expertise with CNH’s global reach. It also brings together CNH’s established brands, dealer network and precision technology.

Supporting Precision Agriculture

Soil health remains an important part of CNH’s agricultural strategy. Farmers depend on healthy soil for long-term productivity and food production.

Therefore, CNH plans to continue investing in research and development. The company is focusing on precision technology, automation and integrated farming solutions.

These technologies can help farmers improve productivity while protecting the soil they depend on.

“Our customers expect us to deliver a strong, comprehensive portfolio with the right technology behind it,” said Gerrit Marx, CEO of CNH.

Marx added that partnerships such as the Bourgault alliance can strengthen CNH’s portfolio. They can also support investment in technologies connected through the company’s FieldOps digital platform.

Bourgault Expands Its Global Reach

Bourgault Industries also expects to benefit from the partnership.

Bill Glanville, Group President of Bourgault Industries, said the alliance will create new opportunities for the company. It will also help make Bourgault seeding technology available to more farmers in different markets.

Meanwhile, CNH will continue supporting its existing seeding products during the transition period.

Its Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, facility will remain focused on manufacturing planters and combine harvester headers.

Building a Stronger Seeding Portfolio

Overall, the CNH and Bourgault strategic alliance strengthens CNH’s position in the global seeding market. It combines Bourgault’s equipment expertise with CNH’s established brands and distribution network.

As a result, farmers and dealers will have access to a broader range of seeding solutions. The partnership also supports CNH’s wider focus on precision agriculture, automation and sustainable farming.
