Compressors Australia Becomes Part of Atlas Copco Group
Compressors Australia Pty Ltd, an Australian compressed air distributor, has become part of Atlas Copco Group. The company provides sales and service for small and medium-sized compressors.
Based in Brisbane and Melbourne, Compressors Australia has nine employees. They will join Atlas Copco Group as part of the acquisition.
Expanding Service Operations in Australia
Compressors Australia mainly serves customers in the general industry sector. The company’s addition will strengthen Atlas Copco’s service capabilities across Australia.
Philippe Ernens, Business Area President of Compressor Technique, said the acquisition will enhance the Group’s service offering. Furthermore, the deal will support current and future customers in the Australian market.
The company will join the service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area. As a result, its operations will become part of the Group’s wider service network.
Acquisition Strengthens Local Presence
During 2025, Compressors Australia generated approximately AUD 4.8 million in revenue, equivalent to around SEK 30 million. Atlas Copco has not disclosed the purchase price.
The acquisition adds experienced employees and an established customer base to Atlas Copco’s Australian operations. Meanwhile, the Group can expand its ability to support compressed air customers in Brisbane, Melbourne and surrounding markets.
