500-Ton All-Terrain Crane Joins Texas Fleet
Davis Crane Group has purchased its first Tadano AC 7.450-1 all-terrain crane. The 500-ton crane will initially support a data center project in West Texas.
The new crane will be based at the Goins Crane Service office in Abilene. Davis Crane Group has served contractors and businesses across Texas for more than 60 years.
The AC 7.450-1 is a seven-axle all-terrain crane. It features a 262.5-foot main boom and a compact carrier design.
Advanced Crane Technology
The new Tadano crane includes several advanced features. These include IC-1, the Sideways Superlift System (SSL) and Surround View.
The crane measures just 55.9 feet in total length. Its maximum outrigger base is 27.8 feet.
This compact design provides significant lifting capacity. The crane can also deliver strong performance with or without SSL.
The AC 7.450-1 is designed for demanding lifting applications. These include high-reach assemblies, tower crane erection and heavy industrial lifts.
Expanding Davis Crane Group’s Capabilities
