Skanska Wins $390M Contract to Build High-Tech Fabrication Facility in Idaho

Skanska has secured a USD 390 million (about SEK 3.6 billion) contract to build a high-tech fabrication facility in Boise, Idaho, for a confidential client.
The company will record the order in its third-quarter 2026 U.S. bookings.
Project includes utility plant and site infrastructure
The project covers the construction of a new fabrication facility, a dedicated Central Utility Plant, and supporting site infrastructure.
Together, these components will support the site’s manufacturing operations.
Construction timeline
Construction has already started.
Skanska expects to complete the project during the first quarter of 2028.
