Westfield Černý Most Unveils Rebrand and Major Expansion in Prague

Westfield has officially unveiled Westfield Černý Most, the latest addition to its global portfolio, following a major rebranding and expansion of one of Prague’s most established shopping destinations.

The centre revealed its new Westfield identity this week alongside a 9,100-sqm extension, introducing more than 30 new shopping and dining concepts. With the expansion complete, Westfield Černý Most now spans approximately 94,100 square metres, housing 180 retail units, and joins the network of 40 flagship Westfield centres across Europe and the United States.

The expansion brings several firsts to the Czech retail market, including Prague’s first JD Sports store located within a shopping centre, alongside international fashion brands such as Reserved, Sinsay, House and Mohito. Polish streetwear brand Cropp is also set to reopen with a flagship concept in 2026, further strengthening the centre’s retail mix.

A key highlight of the development is the new Dining Plaza, designed with double-storey restaurant layouts, table-service dining and the innovative iFood robot restaurant. Sustainability features such as porcelain tableware and bio-waste sorting systems have been incorporated to set new environmental standards for food and beverage spaces.

Entertainment offerings have also been upgraded, with the CineStar multiplex introducing a Boutique Cinema and a new Gold Class complex. The premium cinema experience includes reclining seats, private lounges, bar service and in-theatre dining—marking a first for shopping centres in the Czech Republic.

To celebrate the milestone, Westfield Černý Most hosted a four-day launch event, featuring exclusive retail promotions, live entertainment and VIP celebrations attended by 1,500 guests. The festivities concluded with a free public concert by international pop star Zara Larsson, drawing nearly 3,500 visitors.

The rebranding and expansion position Westfield Černý Most as a leading retail, dining and entertainment destination in Prague, reinforcing Westfield’s commitment to delivering world-class shopping experiences and sustainable development across its global portfolio.
