Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition Opens in Bangkok
The 2026 Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition officially opened on September 16 at the IMPACT Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand. The three-day event is hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce.
The opening ceremony brought together Thai government and industry representatives, including Minister of Industry Varawut Silpa-archa, Department of Primary Industries and Mines Director General Aditad Vasinonta, and IMPACT Exhibition Management General Manager Loy Joon How.
The guests also toured the exhibition and viewed products from Zhejiang-based companies. They praised the quality of Zhejiang products and highlighted the strong brand image associated with “quality Zhejiang goods.”
Zhejiang Products Target Thai Market
Zhejiang has held the Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition in Bangkok for four consecutive years. This year’s event focuses on smart living, building materials, lighting and related industries under the theme “Zhejiang Made All Need.”
Several Zhejiang companies are showcasing products designed for Thailand’s growing smart-building and smart-living markets.
Hikvision is presenting CCTV products, while Tuya is displaying smart building systems and AI-powered smart-life applications. YD Illumination is showcasing smart lighting products, and Seng is presenting smart kitchen appliances.
Meanwhile, Evermore has brought festival lighting products to the exhibition. Wonderful-Wall is also displaying self-developed and self-produced building materials.
Strengthening China-Thailand Trade
China has remained Thailand’s largest trading partner for 13 consecutive years, according to the organisers. Bilateral trade reached a record level in 2025 and continued to show strong growth momentum in 2026.
The exhibition also reflects broader economic cooperation between China and Thailand. The two countries established a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in November 2022 to strengthen economic and trade cooperation.
Zhejiang is a major economic and foreign trade hub in China. The organisers said closer China-Thailand cooperation is creating additional opportunities for Zhejiang businesses seeking to expand in the Thai market.
Business Connections Take Centre Stage
The exhibition is expected to bring together more than 1,000 companies, buyers and sellers during its three-day programme.
Industry forums, conferences, VIP delegations and face-to-face business meetings are supporting new commercial connections. In addition, pre-registered buyer numbers have already exceeded expectations, according to preliminary figures from the organisers.
During the remaining exhibition days, Zhejiang companies will meet hosted VIP buyers and visitors through product demonstrations, dedicated booths and business-matching sessions.
Online meeting invitations will also provide exhibitors with additional opportunities to connect with potential buyers.
The organisers said participating Zhejiang companies are looking forward to expanding their business networks and developing new opportunities in the Thai market.
