Hitachi Construction Machinery at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026

Hitachi Construction Machinery will offer a bold glimpse into the future of the equipment industry at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, unveiling new machines, advanced technologies, and autonomous solutions designed to redefine how humans work on jobsites for the next century.

At the heart of its presence will be a 30,000-square-foot exhibit (Booth #F19012) in the Festival Grounds, featuring more than 20 machines, over 15 attachment types, and live technology demonstrations — all rooted in the reliability and engineering excellence the company has delivered for more than 75 years.

A legacy of reliability meets the future of work

Hitachi Construction Machinery’s history of innovation stretches back to the invention of the industry’s first mid-sized excavator using a two-pump, two-valve hydraulic system. That legacy will be front and centre at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, where the company will connect its engineering past with a technology-driven future.

The booth will feature:

  • An ergonomically designed open equipment display showcasing the latest machines
  • A two-storey heritage exhibit highlighting patented hydraulic systems and key industry firsts
  • A visual timeline tracing decades of manufacturing and engineering milestones

Together, the exhibit will preview the company’s next chapter as it evolves toward LANDCROS, a brand focused on solutions beyond machinery.

Technology shaping the next generation of jobsites

A major highlight of Hitachi Construction Machinery CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 will be its collaboration with the winners of the 2024 Hitachi Construction Machinery Startup ChallengeSodex, Teleo, and Veristart.

Since the challenge, Hitachi Construction Machinery has invested in and co-developed technologies with these startups to address:

  • Skilled labour shortages
  • Operator accessibility
  • Semi-autonomous and AI-assisted machine operation

Visitors will be able to experience and provide feedback on:

  • Assist Pro, an AI-powered tool designed to support operators
  • A semi-autonomous excavator system capable of learning repetitive tasks directly from human operators

Smart, connected and autonomous solutions on display

Additional innovations featured at the booth will include:

  • A new Machine Guidance system for improved on-site precision
  • LANDCROS Connect, a fleet monitoring and machine management platform
  • Autonomous Haulage Solutions for mining trucks

Live demonstrations will allow attendees to see how connected, autonomous, and digitally enabled equipment can improve productivity, safety, and fleet control.

Same trust, new identity

While the technology on display points firmly to the future, Hitachi Construction Machinery is emphasising continuity where it matters most.

In October 2025, the company announced that from April 2027, its corporate and brand name will transition to LANDCROS. The shift reflects a broader focus on integrated solutions, while maintaining:

  • Manufacturing excellence
  • Dealer and customer support
  • Proven business practices

From excavators and wheel loaders to compact machines, the booth will demonstrate the versatility and reliability customers expect — now paired with a forward-looking vision.

Built on land, customer focus, and open partnership

The LANDCROS philosophy — Land, Customer, Reliable, Open, Solutions — will be woven throughout the booth experience.

Attendees will move through a calm, thoughtfully designed space that reflects:

  • A deep connection to the land the machines work in
  • A customer journey-led approach to equipment and technology
  • Open partnerships that accelerate innovation through collaboration

A preview of what’s next

At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, Hitachi Construction Machinery will show how Japanese manufacturing precision, open innovation, and customer-driven design are coming together to shape the next era of construction and mining equipment.

Visitors can explore the future of the industry — and the company’s evolution into LANDCROS — at Booth #F19012.
