Eiffage to Build Two Major Solar Power Plants in Córdoba, Spain, Worth €134 Million

Eiffage, via its subsidiary Eiffage Energía Sistemas, has been awarded a contract to deliver 300 MWp in solar energy capacity for Everwood Capital in Andalusia.

Eiffage has secured a major contract valued at €134 million to construct two solar photovoltaic power plants in Córdoba, Spain, with a total installed capacity of 300 MWp. The project, commissioned by Everwood Capital, will be delivered through Eiffage Energía Sistemas, a key player in renewable energy infrastructure across Europe and beyond.

The development includes the 250 MWp Cabra plant and the 50 MWp Olivar plant, both located in the municipality of Montemayor, Andalusia. These installations are expected to produce over 600,000 MWh annually, enough to power more than 172,000 households with clean, renewable energy.

Turnkey Project and Environmental Focus

The turnkey contract includes:

  • Supply of main equipment
  • High-voltage connection infrastructure
  • Operation and maintenance services

The project not only supports Spain’s clean energy transition, but also emphasizes local economic growth by creating jobs for local businesses and professionals. Environmental mitigation is also a priority, with a green plant screen designed to reduce visual impact and enhance local biodiversity.

Project Timeline

Construction is already underway, and commissioning is scheduled to begin in June 2027.
