Atlas Copco Guangdong Euroklimat Acquisition Overview

Atlas Copco Group has announced plans to acquire Guangdong Euroklimat Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Co., Ltd., a Chinese manufacturer of industrial heating and cooling solutions. The deal will expand the company’s portfolio of energy-efficient thermal management technologies.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval. It is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.

Expanding Industrial Cooling Solutions

Founded in 2009, Guangdong Euroklimat manufactures heating and cooling systems for industrial applications. Its products support process cooling and energy conversion across multiple industries.

The company operates factories and assembly plants in Guangdong Province and Tianjin. In addition, it has sales offices across Southeast Asia.

Broadening Atlas Copco’s Portfolio

The acquisition will strengthen Atlas Copco’s range of air- and water-cooled chillers, industrial heat pumps, centralized air handling units and dry coolers.

Moreover, the company’s products support complete utility room solutions for industrial customers.

Guangdong Euroklimat has also developed monitoring, control and optimization technologies. These solutions help customers reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency.

Executive Comments

Philippe Ernens, Business Area President of Compressor Technique at Atlas Copco Group, said Guangdong Euroklimat’s strong presence in China and entrepreneurial culture make it a strategic fit.

He added that the acquisition will strengthen Atlas Copco’s ability to deliver energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions for industrial customers.

Financial Overview

Atlas Copco did not disclose the purchase price.

In 2025, Guangdong Euroklimat generated RMB 1.281 billion (approximately SEK 1.8 billion) in revenue. The company also employed around 1,000 people.

Following completion, Guangdong Euroklimat will join Atlas Copco’s Oil-free Air Division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
