Atlas Copco Group has received the 2026 Red Dot Design Award for its XB range of industrial assembly tools, recognizing the product line’s design, usability and innovation.

The award honors the Industrial Technique business area, which developed the cordless XB range for modern manufacturing environments. The tools combine reliability, ergonomic design and ease of use to help manufacturers improve productivity and maintain consistent assembly quality.

Designed for Modern Manufacturing

According to Atlas Copco, the XB range supports efficient production by combining speed, precision and connectivity. The tools also help manufacturers transition toward smart factory operations while maintaining tightening accuracy across a wide range of assembly applications.

Håkan Andersson, President of Atlas Copco’s Industrial Technique business area, said the XB range was developed to meet the needs of today’s fast-paced production facilities.

The Red Dot Design Award recognizes products that demonstrate outstanding design quality and innovation. The 2026 Red Dot Award ceremony took place on July 7, 2026, in Essen, Germany.
