Ferrovial Recognized by CDP for Leadership in Climate Change and Water Management

Ferrovial has been acknowledged as a global leader in environmental sustainability by CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), maintaining its position at the forefront of companies committed to tackling climate change. For the 15th consecutive year, the company topped the list of organizations most dedicated to reducing their environmental impact.

Ferrovial also earned a spot on the CDP ‘A List’ for water management for the second consecutive year, reflecting the company’s outstanding practices in efficiently managing water resources.

This recognition highlights Ferrovial’s commitment to transparency in reporting its carbon footprint and climate change mitigation efforts. It also underscores the company’s proactive approach to managing water use, contributing to the alleviation of global water stress and reducing contamination risks.

CDP’s annual survey evaluates more than 24,000 companies globally on their environmental practices, including their management of environmental risks, sustainability leadership, and responsibility. The A rating in both climate change and water management categories underscores Ferrovial’s continuous efforts in environmental stewardship.
