Hyster Atlas Receives Industry Recognition
Hyster has announced two major awards for its Hyster Atlas automated lift truck portal.
The automation platform won a GOOD DESIGN Award in the robotics category. It also received the AGV Solution of the Year award from the SupplyTech Breakthrough Awards.
Hyster launched Atlas in September 2025. Since then, the platform has aimed to make automated lift truck deployment easier for manufacturing and material handling operations.

The Hyster Atlas automated lift truck platform allows users to deploy automation without software engineering experience.
The portal uses a simple drag-and-drop system to create and modify automated routes. First, users manually drive the truck through the required path to map the facility.
As the truck moves, the system automatically creates waypoints along the route. These waypoints define the path for automated operation.
Users can then move the waypoints to adjust the route. As a result, teams can create and update automated workflows without writing code.

The first Hyster Atlas automated lift truck is an automated tow tractor designed to support a variety of workflows.
The tractor can work with different cart styles. It also features automated hitch and unhitch functions, which can reduce manual intervention during operations.
In addition, the system includes automated wireless charging. When charging is required, the truck can return to its charging station without operator or supervisor intervention.

Hyster integrates the automation components separately on top of standard Hyster lift trucks.
