VINCI Motorway Contract Czech Republic Details Revealed

VINCI has secured a major VINCI Czech Republic motorway contract worth €364 million to deliver the final section of the D11 motorway. The project will strengthen transport links between Prague and the Polish border.

The contract was awarded to a consortium led by Eurovia CZ, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, by the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic.

Key Project Scope and Infrastructure

The VINCI Czech Republic motorway contract includes the construction of approximately 20 km of motorway in the northern region of the country.

Key elements of the project include:

  • 20 km of new roadway
  • 31 bridges with a combined length of 2.5 km
  • A 767-meter tunnel

Once completed, the D11 motorway will extend to 155 km. It will form a key part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), improving cross-border connectivity.

Construction Timeline and Environmental Measures

Construction under the VINCI Czech Republic motorway contract will begin in April 2026. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2029.

In addition, the development incorporates several environmental protection measures. The tunnel and 12 km of noise barriers will reduce noise pollution for nearby communities.

Moreover, engineers have identified and secured wildlife migration corridors. These measures ensure that the project balances infrastructure growth with environmental responsibility.

VINCI’s Strong Presence in the Czech Republic

VINCI continues to expand its footprint in the Czech Republic through major infrastructure projects. The company generated more than €1.2 billion in revenue in the country in 2025.

Furthermore, the group operates through multiple divisions, including VINCI Energies and VINCI Concessions. Together, they employ over 5,400 people across the country.

Conclusion

Overall, the VINCI Czech Republic motorway contract marks a significant step in completing a critical European transport corridor. The D11 project will enhance regional mobility, support economic growth, and improve cross-border connectivity.
