Dubai to Host 2nd International Trenchless Exhibition & Conference MENA (ITEC MENA 2025)

22–23 October 2025 | Conrad Dubai, UAE
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Middle East’s growing demand for sustainable and
resilient infrastructure will take center stage this October as Dubai hosts the 2nd
International Trenchless Exhibition & Conference MENA (ITEC MENA 2025) from 22–23
October 2025 at the Conrad Dubai.
Organized by GM Events, ITEC MENA 2025 will bring together over 250 senior
stakeholders from across the region, including representatives from Dubai Municipality,
the Ministry of Municipality in Qatar, the Ministry of Transport in Doha, the Ministry of
Municipalities and Housing (MOMAH) in Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait Oil Company,
alongside international consultants, contractors, and technology innovators. The event will
explore how trenchless and no-dig solutions are reshaping the future of underground
infrastructure in the Middle East and North Africa.
As cities across the region continue to modernize, trenchless construction methods are
rapidly emerging as the preferred alternative to traditional excavation, offering minimal
surface disruption, faster execution, and reduced environmental impact. The
conference will feature a powerful lineup of experts, including Dr. Tamer Al Hafez, Tunnels
Projects Construction Specialist at Dubai Municipality; Hossam Samir Ibrahim, Senior
Urban and Regional Planning Advisor at Ministry of Municipality, Qatar; Hasan Sarwar,
Project Manager at the Ministry of Transport, Qatar; and Mohamed Ghazy, Project Director
of Storm Water Study and Design Projects at MOMAH, Saudi Arabia. They will be joined by
Faisal Aljihayem, Senior Planning Engineer at Kuwait Oil Company, who will share
perspectives on the role of trenchless technologies in advancing government-led
infrastructure projects and sustainability objectives across the Gulf.
Through a series of keynote sessions, technical presentations, and expert panel
discussions, ITEC MENA 2025 will address the latest trends in trenchless engineering,
horizontal directional drilling (HDD), utility mapping, pipe rehabilitation, and digital asset
management. Attendees will also gain insight into how artificial intelligence, geotechnical
innovation, and smart surveying technologies are transforming the planning and delivery of
underground utilities across urban environments.
The accompanying exhibition will feature 10+ leading international solution providers
showcasing the newest trenchless machinery, rehabilitation equipment, and digital
inspection systems. Confirmed partners and exhibitors include Rockpecker, TCC (Tamimi),
Joseph Gallagher, Bekaert, Saertex Multicom, NRP International Contracting LLC,
Apollo Techno International/Elgin, Star Drilling Fluids Trading LLC, CREG, and XCMG.
These companies will present groundbreaking technologies designed to enhance efficiency,
reduce surface disruption, and extend the lifespan of critical underground assets.
“ITEC MENA 2025 will be a key platform for regional authorities, municipalities,
and industry leaders to collaborate and accelerate the adoption of trenchless
solutions,” said the organizers. “By showcasing best practices and nextgeneration technologies, the event will help strengthen the region’s
infrastructure resilience and sustainability efforts.”
With major investments flowing into water, wastewater, and utility networks across the
GCC, trenchless solutions are becoming essential to achieving sustainable urban
development goals. Studies show that no-dig methods can reduce surface disruption and
project timelines by up to 40%, making them an increasingly attractive choice for modern
infrastructure expansion.
Registration is open for ITEC MENA 2025.
