Brasfield & Gorrie Tops Out Trueline Entertainment Venue in Greenville’s West End
The highly anticipated Trueline Greenville entertainment venue has officially passed a major construction milestone. General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie announced the successful topping out of the structure following the placement of the final structural steel beam—capping off a framework that utilizes more than 270 tons of steel in South Carolina’s vibrant West End district.
The structural milestone was celebrated with a traditional topping out ceremony, honoring the dedication of the onsite craft workers, design teams, community partners, and investors driving the project forward.
Shaping Greenville’s Cultural Landscape
As urban centers look to bounce back with experiential spaces, the multi-tier music and hospitality complex represents a massive investment in the city’s cultural infrastructure.
“Topping out marks an important milestone in any project, and this one stands out because of what it represents for Greenville,” said Ben Barfield, Vice President and Division Manager at Brasfield & Gorrie. “Trueline will add a dynamic new chapter to Greenville’s arts and entertainment scene, a place where people can connect through music, creativity, and community. We’re proud to help bring this vision to life.”
Scheduled to open its doors later this year in 2026, Trueline Greenville has been engineered to blend high-end hospitality with world-class acoustics and production capabilities. The finished venue will feature:
- Main Performance Hall: A flagship 1,700-capacity room designed to host major national touring acts.
- Intimate Showcase Room: A 350-capacity space optimized for emerging local artists and indie performances.
- VIP Experience: A private members’ club complete with an expansive rooftop terrace overlooking the West End.
- Community Hub: A dedicated clubhouse and outdoor courtyard built for civic gatherings, local pop-ups, and corporate events.

Complex Urban Infill and Structural Engineering
Building a world-class performance hall within an active, high-traffic commercial corridor like Greenville’s West End presents unique construction challenges. Brasfield & Gorrie utilized precise building information modeling (BIM) to coordinate the logistical delivery and erection of the heavy structural steel framework without disrupting local business operations.
Special attention was paid to the acoustic isolation of the dual performance halls. The structural separation ensures that high-decibel performances in the main room do not bleed into the intimate showcase space or the outdoor rooftop terrace—a vital engineering requirement for multi-room entertainment venues.
